Hello, I'm Bernice!

Our work aims to illustrate the personality of your dog as well as the special bond you share. Our photography style combines traditional portraits as well as capturing authentic playful moments. We believe the true spirit of our dog is captured in portraits that combine all of these elements - the posed, the candid, and those moments of connection. Most clients work with us because they want portraits that capture this variety.

We don't just take photographs, we create art for your home. We believe our portraits deserve to be enjoyed and shared in your home and in your life. It is for this reason, we will be introducing three Signature Art Collections this February. Stay tuned!

We’re all about learning and growing, so we actively invest in ongoing education to continually specialize our skills to serve you better.

Portraits that capture variety

I am very grateful to live, work and play on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, colonially known as North Vancouver. We serve North Vancouver and Vancouver. Before moving to Vancouver several years ago, I lived and worked abroad for over a decade. I traveled a lot in this chapter of my life.  It was at this time I really started to discover photography, I photographed everything everywhere I went - a passionate hobbyist.  I love the art and story telling of photography. I knew then that I wanted to become a professional photographer, but what niche? While it was a lot of fun exploring, nothing really felt right . So I continued searching, and then one day our dog Phoenix arrived...and it all made sense. Phoenix arriving reminded me of my childhood dogs and how I often wish I had professional photographs of them and with them. All of this led to the creation of Pooch in the Park Photography.
