Our work tells the story of you and your dog with a relaxed and easy going approach. Our photography style combines traditional portraits as well as capturing authentic playful moments. Some portraits will be just of your dog and some showcasing the connection between your dog and you. We believe the true spirit of our dog is captured in portraits that combine all of these elements - the posed, the candid and in the moments of connection. Most clients work with us because they want portraits that capture this variety.
We don't just take photographs, we create art for your home. We believe our portraits deserve to be enjoyed and shared in your home and in your life. It is for this reason, we will be offering a selection of unique art options for clients to choose from.
We’re all about learning and growing, so we actively invest in ongoing education to keep our skills sharp, and deliver top-notch service.
I am very grateful to live, work and play on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, colonially known as North Vancouver. Our services serve North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Sea2Sky and Vancouver areas. Before moving to Vancouver a few years ago, I lived and worked abroad for over a decade. It was in this part of my journey that I really explored photography, I photographed everything everywhere I went! I love the art and story telling photography offers. While I had a lot of fun exploring, nothing really felt right. So I continued searching for my niche, and then one day our dog Phoenix arrived...and it all made sense. Phoenix arriving reminded me of my childhood dogs and how I often wish I had professional photographs of them and with them. All of this led to the creation of Pooch in the Park Photography.
